Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website. This page says what we are aiming for, what we have done, what we have not yet checked, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Our goal
We are aiming for WCAG 2.2 Level AA
WCAG stands for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, a widely used set of rules for making websites usable by people with disabilities. Version 2.2 has three levels: A, AA and AAA. Level AA is a common target for public-facing websites, and it is our goal for every page here.
We do not claim that this site meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, because a goal is not a result, and we would rather tell you where we stand. The Known limitations section of this page lists the problems we know of today.

What the site does
What we have built in
These are design and build choices we have made. They describe the site as built, not a certified result.
Using a keyboard
- Menus, buttons, links, form fields and the question-and-answer sections can be used with a keyboard.
- A “Skip to main content” link is the first stop on every page.
- A visible focus outline shows where you are.
Structure and reading
- Each page has landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and one main heading, followed by headings in order.
- Graphics that carry meaning have text alternatives. Purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Links we write that open in a new tab say so in their text. One exception is listed under known limitations.
Color, motion and forms
- Text and background colors were chosen against WCAG contrast ratios.
- Motion on the site is short and does not loop. The animated envelope on the home page rides its route once, and if your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off.
- Form fields have labels, and required fields say so. If a required field is empty when you send a form, a message names the missing fields and focus moves to the first one.
Known limitations
Where the site falls short today
They are listed here so you do not have to find them yourself.
Not yet independently audited
No third-party accessibility audit has been done on this site. We have also not yet run a full manual check of every page with a screen reader, with keyboard-only navigation and with browser zoom, which includes the form messages and the Pause animations button.
The main menus need JavaScript
The header menus open with JavaScript. If JavaScript is off, the links in the page footer list the same pages.
Moving content
The home page has a short animated envelope that plays once. Visitors who set their device to reduce motion see no animation.
Review links that open in a new tab
When live Google reviews load on the home page and the reviews page, the reviewer name and View links open in a new tab without saying so in their text.
Pages that belong to Google and others
Links to Google Maps, the Google review form, Instagram, USPS, NYC Small Business Services, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the PPPWU union printer directory open pages run by those organizations. We do not control how accessible they are.
