Direct mail, no list needed

EDDM postcards in Staten Island: Every Door Direct Mail

Put your EDDM postcard in front of every door on the routes you choose, in Staten Island, NYC or anywhere in the United States, with no mailing list to buy or build. JMS Print & Mail prints it, prepares the mailing and delivers it to USPS.

The basics

What Every Door Direct Mail is

Targeted direct mail starts with a list of names and addresses. EDDM starts with a place. You choose the carrier routes you want to reach, and your piece goes to every door on them. No names or addresses are needed.

That suits a message meant for a whole neighborhood, such as a grand opening for a Staten Island restaurant or shop. A nonprofit or a political campaign can use it the same way (see political mailing).

We mail EDDM on retail and saturation routes, and the Postal Service sets the rules for each. Tell us the area you want and we will go through your options. New to mailing terms? Read how direct mail works.

We prepare mail for businesses, nonprofits and organizations across the United States, from our base in Staten Island, NY. See areas we serve.

EDDM questions

Do I need a mailing list for EDDM?

No. EDDM goes to every address on the routes you choose, so you do not supply names or addresses. To reach specific people, such as past customers or members, use a targeted mailing, which starts with a list. We can build or clean one through our mailing list services.

What sizes can an EDDM piece be?

We mail two EDDM sizes: Standard at 6.125" × 11.5" flat, and Large at 8.5" × 11" or 11" × 11" flat. Share your idea before you finalize artwork, so we can check it against current size and layout rules. For postcards mailed to a list, see our postcard sizes and stocks.

Can I choose which neighborhoods get my mailing?

Yes. EDDM is chosen by carrier route, so you decide which areas get your piece. Send us the neighborhoods you have in mind and we will talk through your options, in Staten Island, elsewhere in New York City or in any other part of the country. Not sure where to start? Tell us who you want to reach.
